With the Italian Aperitivo & Conversation Experience, you will experience one of the most iconic rituals of the Italian lifestyle: the aperitivo, a moment of light socialising, consisting of chatting, relaxing, and connecting.

We will meet in Piazza della Vittoria, one of the main squares in the historic old town of Marsala. From here, we will begin a pleasant walk along the charming “Cassero”, passing through Piazza della Repubblica, until we reach the bar that will host the experience: one of the most fascinating and characteristic places in the historic old town.

Guided by an expert and experienced language teacher, you will begin to interact in Italian through simple and engaging activities: you will learn how to greet people, introduce yourself, and ask your first questions, breaking the ice in a natural and stress-free way.

Through dynamic conversations and role-playing, you will discover the real language used by Italians during an aperitivo: how to make small talk, talk about your day, your trip, or order at the bar. It's not a traditional lesson, but an immersive experience designed to get you talking right away and make you feel part of the local scene.

During the experience, you will also get to know the culture of the aperitif: from its origins to its meaning today, as a moment to “unwind” and share quality time. You can order whatever you like (food and drinks not included) and experience this ritual like a true local, amidst light conversation and a relaxed atmosphere.

While enjoying a drink and sampling a snack, you'll discover the typical vocabulary of the Italian aperitif: from the various types of spritz and cocktails, to the typical aperitif snacks, to the very meaning of the aperitif, until you're able to order what you want yourself and have a spontaneous conversation.

We will conclude with a guided free conversation to consolidate what you have learned and leave you more confident in using Italian in real-life situations.
