What you can expect

  • Discover the highlights of Jaipur on a walking tour. Explore the city's top attractions, including the Hawa Mahal, the Govind Dev Ji Temple, the City Palace, and the Jantar Mantar. Stroll through the flower and vegetable market and the bustling streets of the Pink City.

Start your tour at the iconic Hawa Mahal, a mesmerising five-story palace located in the heart of Jaipur. Admire the beautiful pink sandstone structure, which features a honeycomb of 953 small windows, which allowed the royal ladies to observe the city's bustling streets while remaining hidden from public view.

Explore Jaipur’s Flower Market, a colourful and aromatic hub of local life. Watch vendors skilfully string garlands, interact with friendly locals, and experience the authentic rhythm of the city as fresh blooms are traded for prayers, festivals, and daily rituals.

Next, visit the Govind Dev Ji Temple, one of the most significant temples dedicated to Lord Krishna. Located within the City Palace complex, this temple is renowned for its beautiful idol of Govind Dev Ji, believed to have been brought from Vrindavan.

Devotees flock here for the aartis, especially during Janmashtami and other festivals. The temple's serene atmosphere, combined with traditional architecture and the devotion of the worshippers, makes it a must-visit spiritual destination in Jaipur.

Head to the City Palace, which served as the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. The palace complex includes several palaces, courtyards, gardens, and museums, showcasing a delightful blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Don't miss the Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, and the Diwan-i-Khas during your visit.

Continue to the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. This UNESCO World Heritage site houses a collection of unique and large-scale instruments used for various astronomical calculations. It's a fascinating place to learn about ancient Indian astronomy.

Finally, explore the bustling markets, where you can find traditional handicrafts, textiles, and jewellery, and experience the vibrant local atmosphere.
