We reach the most beautiful and interesting part of the 9-kilometer-long golden, sandy Sotavento Beach – the Queen of Beaches with a stunning lagoon. Free time for sunbathing, walking, and swimming in the crystal-clear, turquoise waters. This is where the World Cup competitions are held – a famous mecca for windsurfers and kitesurfers. We'll also see the “Maldives of Europe” from famous viewpoints.
We reach places mass tourism doesn't reach – the programme includes a visit to Jandia Natural Park, in La Pared (scenes from Star Wars were filmed in the area). The mountains, cliffs, and unforgettable landscapes of the western part of the peninsula are perfect for photographers. A guided walk (10-15 minutes each way) to Playa del Viejo Rey with its unique rock formations will be a paradise for nature lovers.
