Starting from Kameoka, this 16-kilometre journey takes you along the beautiful Hozugawa River through the stunning Hozukyo Gorge, ending in the popular Arashiyama district after approximately two hours.

Travel aboard a traditional wooden boat as three experienced boatmen skilfully guide the vessel using bamboo poles and oars. Along the way, enjoy their entertaining stories, local insights, and fascinating tales that bring the river’s rich history to life.
