Next to a small family-run olive oil and olive production business, you will learn a little about the history and the journey from the olive grove to bottling. You will become familiar with concepts such as fruity, bitter, and pungent, and you will learn what “extra virgin” really means.
Next, you will taste four different samples of olive oil from different regions and varieties, using certified tasting glasses and following the procedure used by professional tasters. Together, we will analyse the aromas of freshly cut grass, tomato leaf, almond, and other aromatic notes, enjoying an authentic Messinian experience in the land renowned for the production of extra virgin olive oil.
