Meet your guide near Hashiba-cho and begin an evening walk through one of Kanazawa’s most atmospheric historic districts.

Start in Higashi Chaya, the largest of Kanazawa’s traditional teahouse districts. After many daytime visitors have left, the wooden townhouses, lattice windows, stone streets, and softly glowing lamps create a quieter and more nostalgic atmosphere. Walk along the high street before entering smaller side lanes that reveal a more intimate side of the area.
