What you can expect
Experience one of the most scenic short treks in the Everest region, perfect for spring, autumn, and winter. The Everest View Trek offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Nuptse without high-altitude difficulty. Walk 5–6 hours daily on well-maintained trails, cross suspension bridges, and explore traditional Sherpa villages like Khumjung and Khunde. Visit Khumjung Monastery, home to the famous yeti scalp. Led by a born-and-raised Sherpa guide, this family-friendly Everest trekking experience is suitable for beginners, seniors, and active travellers seeking a short Himalayan adventure with maximum mountain views.
On Day 01, your adventure begins with an early morning scenic flight to Lukla from Ramechhap Airport, an exciting journey that offers spectacular aerial views of the Himalayas. After meeting your guide in Lukla , you start your trek along a gentle trail that follows the Dudh Koshi River. Prayer wheels, mani stones, and small Sherpa villages line the route as you walk through forested paths towards Phakding, where you settle into a cosy tea house for your first night in the Everest region.
The next day, you continue your ascent, crossing high suspension bridges and entering Sagarmatha National Park. As you climb through pine forests and follow the winding river valley, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic. A final push up a steep hillside brings you to Namche Bazaar — the vibrant Sherpa capital known for its cafés, bakeries, gear shops, and sweeping mountain views. Here you’ll rest, explore, and enjoy the energy of this iconic Himalayan town.
On Day Three, you take a scenic hike to the Everest View Hotel, perched high above Namche. The trail offers superb views at every turn, but nothing compares to the panorama from the hotel terrace, where Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku dominate the skyline. After soaking in the scenery and enjoying a warm drink, you return to Namche for a relaxed afternoon, with time to visit museums, wander through Sherpa villages, or simply enjoy the mountain atmosphere.
Day Four leads you back down the trail, retracing your steps through Monjo, Jorsalle, and Phakding. The return walk feels fresh and rewarding, offering new perspectives on the landscapes you passed earlier. By late afternoon, you arrive in Lukla, where you can celebrate the end of your trek with a warm meal and a comfortable night in a local lodge.
Your journey concludes on Day Five with a morning flight from Lukla to Ramechhap. As the plane rises above the mountains, enjoy one final glimpse of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks — a perfect farewell to a short yet unforgettable Everest adventure filled with world-class scenery.
