The Bidasoa River rises in Navarre under the name Baztán, and when it enters the province of Gipuzkoa, it takes the name Bidasoa. This river flows into the Txingudi Bay, between the towns of Hondarribia and Hendaya. For some, it is the natural border between Spain and France, but for others, it is a river that divides the Basque Country territories of Guipúzcoa and Lapurdi.

In short, it is a river steeped in history thanks to its geographical location.

We will meet in the San Miguel area, which is the end point of the descent. From here, after you have changed, we will take you by van to the start of the descent, which is located in the Endara area.

Accompanied by a guide, we will begin our descent of the Bidasoa River by kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP), and after paddling 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) along its waters, we will end the tour in the San Miguel area.

You can choose between rafting on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) or in a double self-bailing kayak during the Bidasoa descent, with all the necessary equipment to complete the descent.
