Discover the authentic side of Korčula on a scenic island tour beyond the Old Town walls.
We begin with a coastal drive to Račišće, a charming seaside village with beautiful Adriatic views. Guests may enjoy a morning coffee by the sea or, an optional morning swim before the day becomes too hot.
From Račišće, we continue inland through the traditional village of Žrnovo and then to Pupnat, one of the oldest settlements on the island. In Pupnat, we stroll through the village's narrow stone lanes to the local church while learning about local history, architecture and everyday island life.
The journey then continues to Blato, known for its rich cultural heritage and impressive stone architecture. From Blato, we take the scenic side road towards Vela Luka, passing olive groves, vineyards and panoramic viewpoints that showcase the island's rural landscape.
In Vela Luka, we visit a local olive oil production facility and learn about one of Dalmatia's most important traditions and the production of high-quality olive oil.
Throughout the day, there are opportunities to stop for photographs, enjoy scenic viewpoints and experience places rarely visited by larger tour groups. Guests may also choose to stop for lunch at a local restaurant. If requested, I can arrange and reserve a suitable restaurant on the morning of the tour.
An optional afternoon swim stop can also be included, depending on weather conditions and guest preferences.
The scheduled return time is approximately 6:00 PM. However, the experience is designed to be relaxed rather than rushed, and guests are welcome to extend the day at no additional cost if they wish to spend more time exploring, swimming, enjoying lunch or simply experiencing the island at a slower pace.
The itinerary may be adjusted slightly depending on weather conditions, seasonal opening hours and guest interests.
