Leave Maputo behind and experience one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations on this 2-day Kruger National Park safari.
Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Maputo. Travel towards the South African border, where your guide will assist with the border-crossing process before continuing to Kruger National Park.
Enter Kruger National Park and begin your safari through the southern section of the park. Travel with your guide in a comfortable closed vehicle, giving you the flexibility to explore different routes while searching for the Big Five and other wildlife.
Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes and an incredible variety of birdlife. Kruger is also home to Africa's famous Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, although wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
Your guide will use their knowledge of the park, animal behaviour and recent sightings to choose the best routes rather than following a fixed itinerary.
During the day, stop at one of Kruger's rest camps for breaks and lunch at your own expense before continuing your afternoon game drive.
At the end of your first safari day, leave the park and travel to your accommodation near Kruger. Relax and enjoy the evening before another day in the African bush.
On Day 2, start with breakfast before heading back towards Kruger National Park.
Return to the safari vehicle and continue exploring the park. A second day gives you another opportunity to discover different areas and habitats and search for wildlife you may not have encountered on the first day.
Stop during the day for breaks and lunch before enjoying your final game drive through the park.
In the afternoon, say goodbye to Kruger and begin the journey back to Mozambique. After crossing the border, continue to Maputo, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation in the evening.
