What you can expect

  • Enjoy a fun and private sushi-making experience in Kyoto, reserved exclusively for your group.

This hands-on experience is designed for couples, families, and friends who want to spend a relaxed and memorable time together during their trip to Kyoto.

Your local host will guide you step by step as you make nigiri and gunkan sushi. No previous experience is needed. The focus is on enjoying the process together, trying something uniquely Japanese, and learning a few simple sushi-making techniques along the way.

Because the experience is private, you can enjoy it at your own pace without being grouped with other guests. Take your time, ask questions, take photos, and enjoy the experience together with your partner, family, or friends.

Once your sushi is ready, sit down together and enjoy what you have made with miso soup and Japanese green tea.

The experience takes place near Kyoto Station and is conducted in English. Whether it is your first time making sushi or simply something special you want to experience together in Japan, this private sushi-making experience is designed to become a memorable part of your Kyoto trip.
