Next, we move to Nijo Castle. We aim to arrive right as the gates open, allowing us to explore the Shogun's palace and its famous “nightingale floors” before the large tour groups arrive. Your guide will reveal the history of the samurai in a relaxed setting.
Kinkaku-ji (The Golden Pavilion):
