What you can expect

3-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kyoto

Rent a maiko, samurai, or kimono (yukata) at Studio Shiki and enjoy a matcha tea experience at the tea ceremony parlour “Akebonotei,” located a 3-minute walk away.

*Please be punctual for both the kimono and matcha tea experiences.

If you are late for either the kimono or matcha tea experience, you will either be forced to join halfway through or will not be able to participate.

This experience is limited to families of up to four people (ages 5 and up).

The shop is dotted with so many spots that it's impossible to see them all in one day, including shrines and temples such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Yasaka Five-Story Pagoda, Yasaka Koshindo, Ninenzaka, Sannenzaka, Kodaiji Temple, and Yasaka Shrine, as well as tourist attractions and stylish cafes.
