      Midday:
    3. Arashiyama Bamboo Grove
Head to the Arashiyama district to experience the magical Bamboo Grove. Walking through towering bamboo stalks offers an otherworldly experience, with sunlight filtering through the leaves. Nearby, you can also visit Tenryu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site with beautiful gardens.
