Overview
This programme offers far more than a simple cultural experience. The tea ceremony instructors who lead the session have dedicated many years to the study and practice of traditional tea ceremony culture. They not only provide clear explanations of the aspects of the tea ceremony that guests wish to learn about, but also offer in‑depth insights into various elements of Japanese culture as a whole. Participants will receive direct guidance on how to appreciate and enjoy the authentic spirit of the tea ceremony.
In addition, guests may enjoy the experience while wearing a traditional kimono. You will first select a kimono in your preferred colour and pattern from our extensive Nishijin collection in Kyoto. Before dressing, our staff will assist with a simple hair arrangement. Following the kimono dressing, a brief photo session will be conducted.
