This area, one of the first to develop thanks to its fertile land, sailing, and springs, was key in the early days of the island. However, with the transfer of water to the valley and the construction of tunnels to supply the regions with a better climate, Garafía began a slow process of depopulation, becoming a haven for wildlife and silence.
On our route, we will not only explore breathtaking and off-the-beaten-track landscapes, but we will also immerse ourselves in the essence of ancient life on La Palma. We'll feel the connection with the elements, the hard work of those who inhabited these lands, and the vastness of an environment where time seems to have stood still.
