What you can expect

Arrive at the Mirabello port of La Spezia, which has car parking at a cost of 1 euro per hour. Meet a member of staff inside the petrol station who will explain how to reach the Gulf of Poets by sea, give you a map, and answer all your questions.

Climb into a boat full of gas. Listen to some brief instructions about how to turn on and drive the boat and all the equipment on board for navigation. Then, set out to explore the Ligurian Sea. Discover the villages of Portovenere and Lerici, as well as the Palmeria, Tino, and Tinetto islands.

After a day of exploring, return the boat to the same place and fill it up with gas.
