A 3-hour tour/rental of a comfortable traditional boat with a skipper departing from Monterosso. Climb aboard our comfortable vessel and explore the splendid
coast from Monterosso to Riomaggiore, discovering breathtaking landscapes and charming villages perched high above the sea. We'll depart from
Monterosso and immediately head to Fegina beach, where we can admire the statue of the Giant, a reinforced concrete and iron sculpture from 1910, the work of Arrigo Minerbi of Ferrara and the engineer Levacher. It was built at the behest of Giovanni and Juanita Pastine, Monterosso natives who had returned from Argentina after making their fortune. Standing 14 metres tall and weighing 1,700 quintals, the statue depicts Neptune.
After taking a few photos, we'll head south, and the first town we encounter is Vernazza, one of the most beautiful villages in the Cinque Terre, famous worldwide for its atmosphere and considered a jewel nestled between sea and rock. Founded around the year 1000, it offers a unique landscape of dry stone walls and vineyards. After admiring the small port of Vernazza, we'll sail to Guvano Bay, a splendid, pristine pebble beach lapped by turquoise waters and surrounded by typical Mediterranean scrub. The stop in Guvano is dedicated to swimming and snorkelling; masks and floats are provided on board. After the aquatic experience, prosecco, Aperol Spritz, beer, etc. will be offered. Our next stop is Corniglia, the central village of the Cinque Terre, the only one not directly connected to the sea. It stands on a rocky promontory about 100 metres above sea level, in a valley densely cultivated with vineyards. After taking a few photos, we'll reach Manarola, one of the most charming and romantic villages of the Cinque Terre. Built on a 70-meter-high rock, its colourful houses overlook the sea. The village is characterised by a rolling landscape, with narrow, steep alleys. After about 10 minutes of sailing, we'll arrive in Riomaggiore. The village dates back to the 7th century and exemplifies the beauty of the Cinque Terre and their natural setting, dominated by Mediterranean vegetation. The houses are painted in typical Ligurian colours and are two or three stories high. On the return journey, we'll sail about 500 metres from the coast to admire the breathtaking view of the Cinque Terre bay before returning to the port of departure.
