What you can expect

  • Departure from the starting point in Santiago de Veraguas, passing through the district of San Francisco until reaching Calobre.

    You'll learn about the creation of the protected area and some of its environmental features, with a tour guide who will answer any questions you may have about the site.

    In the Forestal Reserve, you'll discover two waterfalls near the protected area. You can also spend the day there, take photos of the landscapes and the lake, and swim in the waters of the San Juan River.

    You can also camp or have a picnic there.
