No trip to Langkawi is complete without a visit to Eagle Square (Dataran Lang), the island’s most iconic landmark. Situated in Kuah Town, this picturesque waterfront plaza is home to a striking 12-meter-tall eagle statue, symbolising the island’s name—derived from the Malay words "Helang" (eagle) and "Kawi" (reddish-brown). During the tour, we will pause for 15 minutes in front of this landmark, allowing you to capture stunning photos and learn about the deep symbolism behind this majestic statue.
