Day One:
Meet at 9:00 AM or be collected from your accommodation. Depart at 9:30 AM and travel for approximately two and a half hours to reach the summit of the Sani Pass - a grand 2874 metres above sea level. Stop at breathtaking lookouts and the South African and Lesotho border posts. Once at the top, visit a living Basotho Village. Here, your experienced mountain guide will teach you about Lesotho and the hardy mountainous Basotho folk. After this interesting cultural experience, we travel further into Lesotho and enjoy lunch at a local Basotho venue. Our guide will leave you to enjoy an afternoon at leisure and to overnight at the Lodge for dinner, bed, and breakfast.
Choose to go horse riding or for a guided walk in the mountains in the afternoon or on the following morning. The Lodge will make all the necessary arrangements for you.
Day Two: Our guide will collect you from the lodge at around 13h30 after lunch and you will join others in the incredible descent of the Sani Pass back to arrive in Underberg around 16h00.
