What you can expect

  • Starting from Impasse des Brigittines, dive into the mysterious side of Lille on a Ghost Tour on foot dedicated to ghosts, witchcraft, the occult sciences, and unexplained phenomena.

As you walk through the historic centre of Lille, discover places marked by stories of death, possession, exorcisms and witchcraft.

At the Brigittines, delve into one of the most disturbing cases of possession in Lille's history and discover the stories of exorcisms that left their mark on the convent in the 17th century. You will also learn how certain paranormal traditions explain phenomena that can be associated with places steeped in history.

In Saint-Maurice, walk over the site of an old cemetery and explore the world of ghosts: apparitions, voices, feelings of presence and other phenomena reported in tales of hauntings. Photographs and personal documents of the investigator/guide.

On the Grand Place, learn about a witchcraft trial and the terrible torture associated with it, before exploring the practices and symbols of contemporary and ancient witchcraft. Your guide will also share a personal experience combining witchcraft and paranormal phenomena.

In front of Notre-Dame-de-la-Treille, learn about the storey of Marie de Lescurie and the exorcisms performed in connection with her case. No fewer than 52 miracles were recognised there, and 29 exorcisms were performed. You will discover what an exorcism really is, far beyond the depictions seen in films, and you will be able to listen to an audio recording of a real exorcism ritual.

In the Impasse du Lion d'Or, where a famous crime took place, we will learn about its history and how to measure the energies of places, and we will delve into the protective aspect of the occult symbols commonly used by experts.

We will conclude with the still-unsolved mystery of the Mummy House on Rue Saint-Jacques.

A tour that combines history, eyewitness accounts, legends, and paranormal investigation, where documented facts and beliefs are clearly distinguished.

A tour of Lille that combines history and esotericism.
