What you can expect

Taste your way through Lisbon on a 4-hour walking tour highlighting some of the city’s best food. A local guide leads the way, ready to share insider knowledge of the city and take you on a journey that combines history, culture, and delicious food. Discover hidden gems, enjoy a fun ferry ride, and taste a variety of local pastries, cheese, seafood and wine.

Your tour begins in the historic area of Mouraria, a once forgotten district that’s now a vibrant melting pot of cultures and a place you won't see on other Lisbon tours. Soak up the multicultural vibes as you pass by small churches, mosques and shops selling goods from far-flung places.

Next, you’ll learn a bit about Fado (Lisbon’s traditional music) from your guide and walk past the birthplace of the legendary Maria Severa, Fado’s first superstar who sang in Lisbon’s taverns many years ago.

Then it’s time to indulge your appetite by stopping at a small, hidden bakery where traditional pastries and espresso will provide a tasty pick-me-up and another insight into the local way of life.

Soak up more of Lisbon’s sightseeing highlights and history while visiting churches and taverns, then stop to taste Portuguese cheese and authentic, locally made marmalade. From there, you’ll explore the highlights of the cultural and bohemian districts of Chiado, Bairro Alto, and Bica.

Afterwards, take a short trip to the Tagus River, board a ferry, and journey to the picturesque Cacilhas area, where refreshing Portuguese green wine and freshly caught seafood awaits! Enjoy magnificent views from the South Bank before returning to the city centre.
