What you can expect

  • Have you ever had breakfast in a Medici Fortress?
The green heart of the city, the New Fortress overlooks the picturesque Medici canals and tells of centuries of history.
Built at the end of the 16th century at the behest of the Medici, it still retains its mighty red brick walls, bastions, and walkways that offer unique views of the historic old town and the harbour.
Start with a real Italian breakfast: a moment of taste and conviviality to kick off the day with energy, amidst the aromas of coffee and traditional flavours, in a location from another era.
Then comes the journey through time: put on the VR headset and let yourself be guided through an immersive multimedia experience that reconstructs the Fortress and its history in a surprising way.
Thanks to innovative technologies and 7 different experiences, you can go back in time and experience the Fortress from a completely new perspective.
A route that combines tradition and innovation, transforming the discovery of the place into an engaging, interactive, and memorable experience.
