The class will begin with a demonstration of the craft of making and mending umbrellas, a rare and disappearing profession in Slovenia. Observe Marija at work as she shares the basic methods of umbrella repair and enhances the experience with tales of her individual experiences.
Once you have enjoyed hearing Marija's presentation of her craft, there will be an opportunity for you to repair and restore an old and broken umbrella, should you wish to. No matter the condition, Marija will know how to fix it!
