Pickup times are estimates and may be earlier or later due to traffic, hotel location, or road conditions. Please be ready 10–15 minutes before pickup.
Journey to Sumbawa
Travel to Kayangan Harbour for about 2 hours, then take a public ferry to Poto Tano Harbour for approximately 1.5–2 hours. Continue by road to Labuan Jambu, the gateway to Saleh Bay.
The total journey takes around 8–10 hours or longer. Delays may occur due to ferry queues, traffic, weather, road conditions, or ferry schedules. Ferry schedules are controlled by the ferry operator.

Arrival in Labuan Jambu is usually around 8:00 PM, followed by hotel check-in and rest.
IMPORTANT – ACCOMMODATION
Labuan Jambu is a remote coastal area with very limited hotel options. Participants must accept the accommodation arranged by the operator. The hotel is a simple local accommodation, not a luxury hotel, selected according to availability and location. Every room has air conditioning (AC). The hotel cannot be changed after arrival due to limited options.
Whale Shark Adventure
At around 4:00 AM, you will be awakened and taken to the harbour to board a traditional wooden Begog boat towards the fishing platforms (bagang). The boat ride usually takes about 1 hour or longer, depending on whale shark location and sea conditions.
Snorkelling usually starts around 7:00 AM, but timing may change depending on sea conditions and whale shark activity. After snorkelling, enjoy a simple breakfast on the boat with coffee, tea, bread, and fruit.
Special Wildlife Experience
Whale sharks are wild animals living freely in the ocean. We do not feed whale sharks and cannot control their presence. Fishing activity around the bagang can naturally attract fish and plankton, which are part of the whale sharks' food source. Whale sharks may arrive or leave at any time.
Based on our experience, the estimated chance of encountering whale sharks is around 80–90%, but this is not guaranteed. They may be seen closely, appear briefly, remain far from the boat, or may not be seen at all.
If whale sharks are not found, the tour continues as planned and NO REFUND OR COMPENSATION WILL BE PROVIDED, as wildlife sightings are beyond the operator's control
