Day 1: Lombok to Sumbawa – Island Snorkelling

Early morning pickup from your hotel in Senggigi, Mataram, Bangsal, or Kuta Lombok. Transfer to the harbour and continue the journey towards the whale shark region near Sumbawa.

Upon arrival, enjoy snorkelling around colourful coral reefs filled with tropical fish. Swim in clear turquoise waters, relax on the beach, or explore the island surroundings.

In the afternoon, enjoy sunset views or additional snorkelling before heading to local accommodation for an overnight stay near the whale shark area.

Day 2: Whale Shark Encounter & Snorkelling

Wake up early before sunrise for the highlight of the trip. Board a shared boat and travel to the whale shark hotspot.

Enter the water with your guide and swim alongside whale sharks in the open sea. These magnificent creatures can grow up to 12 metres long yet are completely harmless and known for their calm behaviour.

If no whale sharks are seen during the official snorkelling session, we provide a 50% refund of the whale shark activity portion as a goodwill policy.
