Your journey begins at 8:00 AM with pickup from your hotel in Luang Prabang. On the 45-minute drive into the mountains, your guide will introduce you to the surrounding nature with stops to observe edible plants, medicinal herbs, and fruit trees. These ingredients will later become part of your first hands-on activity: a traditional Lao cooking class, where you’ll learn how to steam rice in a bamboo basket and prepare your own jungle meal.
Upon arrival at the forest site, the adventure deepens. Together with your guide, you’ll collect natural materials like bamboo, vines, and leaves to build your camp, set up your kitchen space, and construct basic shelter. Using only what nature provides, you’ll craft cooking utensils and simple tools—an introduction to living sustainably and independently in the wilderness.
Day 2 – Mastering Survival Skills
