Create, drink, and relax at SonoJournals, an artisanal bookbinding workshop where you'll assemble your own leather notebook from scratch. In a social and relaxed atmosphere, with unlimited wine throughout the session, you'll learn to put together and finish your journal, choosing every detail to your liking, and take it home finished and ready to start writing.
Your host will guide you step by step, so you don't need any previous experience. You'll start by choosing the colour and type of leather for your journal, the foundation on which everything else is built. Next, you'll place the metal eyelets — in gold or silver tones — that will give structure to your notebook. Then comes one of the most special moments: you'll stamp your initials on the leather with movable type and a hammer, a traditional marking technique in which you yourself strike each blow. The result is a subtle and permanent embossed engraving that turns the notebook into a truly unique piece.
From there, the most creative part begins. You'll choose the coloured rubber bands to close and organise your journal to your liking, and you'll add the decorative charms that best fit your style. Finally, you'll add the two inner notebooks — each with 36 pages, so you'll have plenty of space to write, draw, or do whatever you like — and you'll freely personalise them with a selection of all kinds of decorative stickers and acrylic pens. No rules, no “correct” result, just your notebook as you imagine it.
The session lasts for 2 hours, which is enough time to create calmly, chat, and enjoy the process without rushing. It's a perfect plan for an afternoon with friends, a different kind of date, or a special occasion. And when you're done, you take home a handcrafted notebook that's unique and completely yours, ready to start using in your everyday life.
