Join me in creating Nerikiri, a traditional Japanese confection!
First, you will choose from sample designs and make three different shapes.
Then, you’ll have the chance to create your own original Nerikiri design, making this a truly creative and hands-on experience. Everything you make can be taken home with you.
Afterwards, enjoy a table-style tea ceremony where I will serve matcha together with carefully selected Japanese sweets sourced from all over Japan.
This experience is enjoyable for all ages, from young children to seniors, and is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
the location is in Tokyo’s most stylish area, just a 3-minute walk from Omotesando Station and within walking distance of Shibuya and Harajuku.
After the experience, you can easily visit famous landmarks such as Meiji Shrine, Takeshita Street, and the iconic Shibuya Crossing.
We will meet across CHUMS Omotesando( In front of Brown building), and from there it’s only a 20-second walk together to my place.
Nerikiri is a type of traditional Japanese confection often enjoyed during the tea ceremony. It is made from sweet white bean paste mixed with glutinous rice flour or yam, giving it a soft and smooth texture. Because it is easy to shape by hand, Nerikiri is crafted into beautiful seasonal designs such as flowers and leaves, making it not only delicious but also a piece of edible art.
The starting times are 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:30 PM.
The duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
