Discover the Combined Military Services Museum, a collection of military artefacts that began with a young boy’s fascination with a discarded backpack. As you explore, learn how the museum’s founder, Dr. Richard Joseph Wooldridge, turned a childhood passion into a national treasure.

See rare items like the Cockle canoe, clandestine radios, and Special Forces insignia, all collected over decades. Walk through exhibits that tell the stories of military history, from World War Two’s Combined Operations to modern-day conflicts.

Admire the dedication and effort that went into preserving these artefacts, many of which were saved from destruction or export. As you explore, gain a deeper understanding of the sacrifices and innovations of the armed forces.
