Your day starts at 8:30 a.m., when we'll pick you up directly from your resort for an unforgettable excursion. Our journey takes us to Malindi, where we'll start with a fascinating tour of the local wood factory, where you can admire expert artisans at work and discover traditional processing techniques. We'll continue with a visit to the colourful spice market, an explosion of scents and colours that will immerse you in the local culture.
The adventure continues across the majestic Sabaki River and the picturesque village of Mambrui, offering an authentic glimpse into Kenyan daily life. The landscape gradually turns into a tropical paradise as we head towards the spectacular Che Shale beach, crossing lush coconut palm plantations and striking sand dunes.
Once you arrive in Che Shale, you'll be amazed by the famous “golden beach,” so called for its unique sand that shines like gold under the African sun. Here you'll have time to stroll along the dunes, take unforgettable photos, and enjoy this natural wonder that seems to transport you to another world.
Around noon, we'll board traditional canoes to reach the legendary Robinson Island, a corner of paradise that embodies the essence of tropical adventure. Once you arrive on the island around 12:30, we'll take you on a 30-minute sightseeing tour to explore this natural gem.
At 1:00 p.m., a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood awaits: crab, shrimp, and local fish accompanied by traditional coconut rice, prepared according to the most authentic local recipes. You can enjoy these flavours sitting in front of the crystal clear sea, surrounded by tropical vegetation (drinks not included).
After resting and enjoying the island's heavenly atmosphere, we'll head back to the mainland by boat at 3:00 p.m. From here, we'll continue our adventure to the amazing Marafa-Grand Canyon, to watch a spectacular sunset among its unique rock formations.
Our excursion includes return transport from your resort, a canoe transfer to Robinson Island, a delicious seafood lunch, and a professional tour guide who will accompany you throughout the tour, sharing stories and curiosities about this fascinating land.
