Discover a place on Mallorca that even many wine lovers never get to know.
While most wine tours take you to the most famous and most visited bodegas on the island, you will visit a carefully selected family business in the heart of the Santa Maria wine region.
With an annual production of only around 50,000 bottles, the bodega is one of the smaller quality producers in Mallorca and has earned an excellent reputation through uncompromising sustainability and exceptional wine quality. Numerous top restaurants and Michelin-starred kitchens in Mallorca have the wines on their menus.
It is clear from the moment you arrive that a different path is being taken here. The entire vineyard is 100 percent organically managed. Modern solar technology supplies the operation with sustainable energy, while its own well ensures an independent water supply. The bodega is considered a pioneer of future-oriented viticulture on Mallorca and sets new standards in dealing with the challenges of climate change.
Together, you will explore the vineyards and learn why traditional Mallorcan grape varieties are more important today than ever. Instead of relying on standard international varieties, the bodega focuses on local vines with character, such as Manto Negro, Prensal Blanc, Giró Ros and Malvasía de Banyalbufar, which prove to be surprisingly resistant to heat and drought.
Afterwards, you will taste 4 selected wines right where they are made. In the process, your personal guide will tell you more about the philosophy of the winery, the special characteristics of the individual grape varieties, and the development of modern viticulture in Mallorca. This wine tasting is accompanied by a selection of local tapas, Mallorcan cheese, and traditional specialities.
This experience is for connoisseurs who want to discover Mallorca in a special way – in places whose doors remain closed to most visitors.
The tour is conducted in small groups with a personal guide and can take place in German, English, or Spanish.
As this experience is only offered on selected days of the week, we recommend booking early. Wine lovers who would also like to discover Mallorca on other days can choose from other carefully selected culinary and wine experiences that allow them to experience the diversity of Mallorcan wine culture in very different ways.
