    Start your day with a drive along the westernmost edge of the Tramuntana Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the rural landscapes, the mountains dramatically plunging into the sea, the terraced fields, and the rustic villages. Take in the views from the medieval Es Verger watchtower.

    Next, head to Valldemossa and explore its narrow streets of Muslim origin. Learn why the village has attracted writers and artists like George Sand and Chopin, Rubén Darío, and Azorín.
