Overview

  • Experience two countries in just half a day; from Copenhagen to Malmö and back. Your Local Danish host meets you at Copenhagen Central Station, and together you take the smooth 40 minute train ride across the Øresund Bridge. Your return ticket is included.

In Malmö, your host leads a private two hour walk through the city’s most charming areas, including colourful Gamla Väster, the King’s Garden and the historic Malmöhus Castle. You’ll hear the stories of how Malmö was once part of Denmark, how the city became Swedish in the 1600s, and how shared history and friendly rivalry still connect the two countries today.

After the walk, you enjoy a classic Swedish fika at a local café, with coffee and a pastry included. You can then decide whether you’d like to stay and explore Malmö on your own or travel back to Copenhagen together with your host. If you choose to return with your host, the whole private experience takes around four hours from start to finish.
