    • The Bamboo Farm, Provincia de Puntarenas, Quepos, 60601, Costa Rica | If you're driving on the Quepos–San José route, you'll see the sign on the left-hand side. The sign is made of brown wood and says NACARCOSTA. Right in front of it, at the same entrance, there's a large sign with A RED-EYED FROG. The receptionist will be waiting for you. The guide has all the information, parking and tickets, and will just be waiting for you to start the adventure... Be careful, because after the gas station, there are many companies that offer this activity. Please follow the instructions given here. Don't forget the wooden sign that says NACARCOSTA. There you'll see the beautiful entrance in the middle of the oil palm plantation. This entrance has beautiful heliconia flowers on both sides. Drive on and you'll pass a small bridge in the middle of a large bamboo grove. Drive to the end, where the NACARCOSTA front desk is clearly marked with signs. The private parking lot is right there...

What you can expect

  • In this beautiful activity, we will discover the most camouflaged species in their natural habitat in the mangroves of the central Pacific of Costa Rica. In the company of a local guide with a trained eye, we will sail and find white-faced monkeys, crocodiles, snakes, a large number of birds such as herons and kingfishers, bats, and many more…
    The boat is fully equipped and very safe for the whole family. The captain and the tour guide will explain everything about the natural history of the species we encounter.
