During this unique experience, participants will immerse themselves in the art of marble carving in the heart of Athens. They will learn about the history of marble and stone craftsmanship in ancient Greece, explore the MarbleArt collection, and create their own marble sculpture using traditional hand tools. Guided by experts, they will be taught how to use these tools to engrave personal symbols onto marble, following techniques dating back to antiquity. This hands-on workshop combines creative expression, historical insight, and practical sculpting skills. At the end of the activity, each participant will take their unique creation home as a keepsake. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to take a guided walk through Athens’ historic centre, where they can discover and photograph iconic sculptures, fully engaging with Greek culture in a welcoming and inspiring environment.
