Have you always dreamed of colourful unfamiliar exotic spices, and preparing a simple but exquisite tagine with the freshest ingredients? Then this hands-on cooking class is for you..

You'll be picked up in lively Jemaa El Fna and guided to our Riad by one of our employees. There, the lead chef will be waiting for you with a mint tea to unwind. The ingredients will be prepared for your cooking experience.

In the courtyard kitchen, you'll work under expert instruction, cooking an exquisite meal. While your tagine cooks over the fire, you'll prepare a selection of Moroccan salads that serve as the prelude to every Moroccan meal, learn about the unique flavours of preserved lemon, rose water, and ras el hanout – and how Moroccan cuisine harmonises sweet, salty, and aromatic notes.

The experience ends with a shared meal in the serene setting of the riad or on the rooftop terrace, as you wish. Enjoy a good Moroccan wine with your own meal - if you so wish, and linger after your cooking adventure for some mint tea or coffee.

Your cooking course can be tailored to your wishes: we offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
Children (up to 13 yrs) interested in cooking are most welcome to participate at a reduced price.

Pick up: 10.45-11:00 H at Café de France. Please give us a call beforehand to confirm the time of pick up.
Start of cooking class: 11:00 H (during summer also at 16:30 H)
Minimum participants: 2 persons over the age of 14 years
