Head to Grande Anse Beach for the start of your snorkelling excursion with an underwater scooter at Pointe Burgos, one of the most preserved and spectacular sites on the south coast of Martinique.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a certified diving instructor who will supervise the activity from start to finish. The excursion starts with a full briefing: a presentation of the itinerary, safety instructions, handling of the electric underwater scooter, and a reminder of best practices for moving in a natural environment. Everything is explained clearly so that everyone feels comfortable, even without prior experience.
Once equipped, you'll gradually enter the water to start the aquatic excursion. Thanks to the underwater scooter, you can move around effortlessly, allowing you to explore a large part of the coast and access areas that are inaccessible by swimming from the beach.
The route runs along the south coast of Grande Anse, an area known for its many sea turtle sightings. The ride continues to Pointe Lézarde, where you'll discover the first reefs and a wide variety of tropical fish. The excursion includes three distinct snorkelling sites, with a stop at each to observe the seabed and fully enjoy the place: Pointe Lézarde, the Grotte aux couleurs, and Pointe Burgos.
Throughout the outing, the instructor provides guidance, ensures the safety of the group, and shares their knowledge of the marine fauna and flora of Martinique. Breaks are planned at each site to observe the species encountered and enjoy the exceptional setting.
The return is a leisurely one towards Grande Anse beach, with the possibility of making additional stops if you spot any remarkable animals.
Back on land, we'll take time to get you out of your gear and debrief, a friendly moment to talk about the experience, ask questions, and share your impressions.
This 2.5-hour excursion offers a unique and accessible way to discover the richness of the Martinican seabed, combining exploration, fun, and safety in an exceptional natural setting.
