Overview

  • Travel back in time on an immersive walking tour of Ghent, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval cities. Begin at Gravensteen Castle, the 12th-century “Castle of the Counts,” and uncover stories of power, politics, and intrigue that shaped Flanders.

Stroll along the picturesque Graslei and Korenlei, once the city’s commercial heart, where ornate guild houses reflect in the River Lys and reveal Ghent’s medieval wealth.

Enjoy free time to taste Belgian specialities before exploring the historic center’s cobbled streets and centuries-old architecture. Hear tales of rebellion, trade, and craftsmanship that defined the city.

End at St. Michael’s Bridge with panoramic views of Ghent’s famous three towers — St. Nicholas’ Church, the Belfry, and St. Bavo’s Cathedral — the perfect finale to your medieval adventure.
