What you can expect
San Jose is being ravaged by a nasty epidemic that only your small team can stop! In this outdoor game, you’ll have 90-minutes to save as many souls as possible armed only with your wits and your smartphones.
Our (virtual) bumbling scientists are standing by with a map of outbreaks that are ravaging downtown San Jose. With that map loaded to your smartphone, your team will hustle on foot to a variety of outbreak sites within a 3-block radius of Plaza de César Chávez in the heart of the city.
At each outbreak site, your team will have to dig deep into your memories (or the search engine on your smartphone) to answer bizarre challenge questions on topics like 80’s video games, audacious liars, Silicon Valley tech pioneers, Ben Franklin farting, brain matter, and Freudian slips.
Get a question right and you save lives. Get it wrong, and people die. Pay attention as the story unfolds and the epidemic takes on a life of its own.
The game starts and finishes at the Circle of Palms Plaza in downtown San Jose. Areas of interest on this game course include The Civic, the San Jose Museum of Art, the Tech Museum, and the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph.
