We will begin by meeting up at the cablebus station Indios Verdes to begin our journey to one of the most populated barrios in Mexico City. We will ride the gondolas and start enjoying of the views as we move up to the last town north of the city. Once we make it to the end, friends and family who are in to the local cab business, will drive us through the barrio so we can experience up close the insane driving conditions in to which everyone adapts to on the day to day. We see how life really is for the locals of Mexico City and become a part of it as we make our way up to the natural reserve of the Sierra de Guadalupe. Once we make it to the very top, we begin our short hike up the mountain to find a pulqueria farm in a very unique location, at the edge of the mountain where we can overview all Mexico City, the State of Mexico and a bit of Hidalgo State. 3 states in one. We will enjoy of this naturally fermented drink which has been a part of our culture since the times of the natives that onces lived in these lands. The Aztecs, the Mayas, all of these cultures once produced this drink as well and the process in which we obtain it today is still the same. Once done, we will drive down the hill and offer an optional lunch stop at a local restaurant where we will suggest some dishes that many miss out from during their visit to Mexico. We then cablebus ride down back to the initial meeting point to finish of the day where we first met.
