What you can expect

During the summer months, Iceland is lucky to have nearly 24 hours of daylight. This allows us to operate the incredible Midnight Sun Whale Watching tour. There's something extra-special about seeing the whales late in the evening, surrounded by the glow of the midnight sun reflecting off of the waters in Faxaflói Bay. The tour sets sail at 9:00 and heads back just before midnight, allowing for plenty of time searching for whales with one of the expert guides. The most common species seen in Faxaflói Bay are minke whales, humpback whales, harbour porpoises and white-beaked dolphins.
