What you can expect

  • Discover the perfect balance between body, mind and nature in a unique wellness experience in Mindo, one of the most magical ecological destinations in Ecuador. Just two hours from Quito, this small paradise is renowned for its biodiversity, tranquil atmosphere and the incomparable beauty of its surroundings: mist-covered mountains, exotic birds, crystalline rivers and lush vegetation.

Upon arrival at Mindo Glambird, an eco-lodge designed to live in harmony with the forest, you will be greeted by a warm and natural environment, surrounded by gardens, trails and the sounds of the jungle. The experience begins with a natural herbal tea made with local herbs to help you unwind and prepare your body for a moment of total relaxation.

Your massage takes place outdoors, on a platform located at the edge of the Mindo River. The space is open and surrounded by trees, allowing you to enjoy the fresh breeze, birdsong and the sound of running water as you lie on a comfortable massage table. The massages are performed by professional therapists using natural essential oils such as lavender, eucalyptus or yerbaluisa, chosen for their relaxing and revitalising properties.

Each movement is carefully designed to release tension, improve circulation and help you reconnect with yourself. In this natural environment, the massage becomes a sensory experience: not only do you feel the physical relief, but you also enter a state of peace and wholeness, enveloped by the energy of the cloud forest.

At the end, you can rest a few more minutes in front of the river, in a hammock or lounge chair, while sipping a natural drink, breathing deeply and allowing the experience to settle into your body. It is a moment to be grateful, contemplate and simply be.

This massage is not just a body therapy. It is a ritual of connection with nature, a conscious and deep pause in a world that rarely stops. Ideal for travellers seeking authenticity, wellness and a real contact with the environment.

If you are looking to escape the noise, release stress and give yourself a moment of calm in one of the most beautiful places in Ecuador, this massage in front of the river in Mindo will be an experience you will remember forever.
