Experience one of the most iconic stretches of the Colorado River as you float through Castle Valley, also known as the Fisher Towers section just outside Moab. This half day rafting trip combines incredible red rock scenery with a fun and refreshing time on the water, making it a perfect addition to any Moab adventure.

All outfitters in Moab operate on the same section of the Colorado River, sometimes called Fisher Towers, Castle Valley, or the Moab Daily. While the names may vary, this is the same beautiful stretch of river known for its towering red rock formations, dramatic canyon walls, and wide open desert views. We believe in being honest about the experience. While this is absolutely a rafting trip, the real highlight is the scenery, the Colorado River itself, and spending time on the water surrounded by iconic Moab landscapes.

After meeting your guides at 97 S. Main Street in city centre Moab, you will shuttle approximately 45 minutes to the river launch. Once on the water, enjoy a mix of calm floating sections and splashy rapids as you take in the views. This section typically features Class I and II rapids, with occasional seasonal Class III rapids during higher water earlier in the season. There is no need to oversell the rapids here. We are giving you an honest view of this very scenic float trip down the Colorado River. This trip is best suited for guests looking for a scenic Colorado River experience with some fun splashes along the way.

If you are looking for a more action packed whitewater experience, check out our full day Westwater Canyon trip featuring exciting Class III and IV rapids.
