The experience takes place at a family-run winery, where every guest is personally welcomed by Viola, the owners’ daughter. Her passion and connection to the local area make every visit unique, creating a warm and genuine atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home.
The experience begins with a short walk through some of the estate’s oldest vineyards. This is not a comprehensive tour of the vineyards, but rather an introduction to the region, the grape varieties, and the traditions that define the winemaking process.
This is followed by a guided tasting of four wines: a white, a rosé, and two reds, including the renowned Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. During the tasting, you’ll discover the aromas, characteristics, and interesting facts about each wine, gaining a deeper understanding of the connection between the product and the territory.
The experience is accompanied by a light Tuscan-style lunch, featuring a selection of local products such as cured meats, cheeses, and various types of bruschetta, including one topped with the estate’s own extra virgin olive oil, which you’ll have the chance to taste during the experience.
Additionally, depending on the season, a traditional Tuscan dish will be served, such as prosciutto and melon, panzanella, caprese, or fagioli all’uccelletto: simple yet flavourful dishes that authentically reflect rustic cuisine.
