Forget the traditional crowded boat tour—come and see Morro de São Paulo the way few get to see it: riding your own quad bike along the island's inland trails.
The adventure begins at 9:40 am at Segunda Praia, with a practical and relaxed training session. Even if you've never ridden a quad bike before, the instructor guarantees that in 15 minutes, you'll leave feeling confident. Helmet, safety equipment, and travel insurance are all included.
From there, the pace is up to you. Your guide leads the way through coconut groves, crossing stretches of Atlantic rainforest and passing through villages where locals wave from afar. The sound of the engine mingles with the birdsong—it's a contrast that only makes sense when you're there.
First stop: Encanto Beach, known as Quinta Praia. It is one of the best preserved beaches on the island, with no tourist tents and no loud music—just crystal-clear sea and white sand for you to enjoy. Time for photos, to wet your feet, or just to feel the wind.
We continue to Garapuá, a fishing village at the southern tip of Morro. Here, you have free time: you can swim in the calm sea, have lunch at one of the local restaurants (fresh grilled fish, chargrilled lobster), or relax in a hammock among the coconut trees. You can spend up to 2 hours in Garapuá.
The return trip is the best part—the sun begins to set, the terrain becomes less challenging, and you travel the same route in reverse as the sunset paints everything orange. Arrival at Segunda Praia by 5:00 PM.
