The trip starts early in the morning with a pick-up from the hotel (optional), then continues to the basecamp in the Kintamani area. From here, you will ride a 4x4 jeep through a black lava path formed from a volcanic eruption, giving an exciting and different off-road sensation.
After reaching a certain point on the mountainside, the journey continues with a light trekking for ±30-60 minutes to the peak area. Above, you will be treated to a spectacular sunrise view, with the backdrop of Lake Batur and the surrounding mountains.
While waiting for the sunrise, the guide will prepare a simple breakfast such as eggs, bread, and warm drinks cooked using natural steam from the mountain. After that, you can explore the crater area before going back down—either on foot or by jeep.
