Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
- Start:Londorossi Gate (2,100 metres)
- Experience: After registration, a drive through the rainforest leads to the trailhead. Hikers trek through lush forest, spotting wildlife and exotic plants.
- Camp: Mti Mkubwa (2,750 metres)

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa to Shira Camp 2
- Terrain: Forest to moorland
- Highlights: The trail ascends through the forest, transitioning to the moorland zone, offering expansive views of the Shira Plateau.
Experience: A gentle hike across the plateau allows acclimatisation, with panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s peaks.
- Camp: Shira Camp 2 (3,850 metres)

Day 3: Shira Camp 2 to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
- Challenge: Acclimatisation hike
- Highlights: Climb to Lava Tower (4,600 metres) for altitude adjustment, then descend to the scenic Barranco Valley.
- Camp: Barranco Camp (3,960 metres)

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
- Terrain: Barranco Wall, alpine desert
- Experience: Ascend the Barranco Wall, a steep but non-technical climb, then traverse valleys and ridges to Karanga Camp.
- Camp: Karanga Camp (4,035 metres)

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
- Terrain: Alpine desert
- Highlights: A steady climb to Barafu Camp with breathtaking views of the summit path. Rest and prepare for the final ascent TO base Camp.
- Camp: Barafu Camp (4,673 metres)

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Summit, then descent to Mweka Camp
- Summit Attempt: Midnight departure for Uhuru Peak (5,895 metres)
- Experience: A challenging climb under the stars to Stella Point and then to Uhuru Peak at sunrise. After celebration and photos, descend to Mweka Camp.
- Camp: Mweka Camp (3,100 metres)

Day 7: Mweka Camp (3100m) to Mweka Gate (1630m)

Walk down the Mweka montane forest to Mweka Gate for 3 hours, where we complete park formalities and receive certificates, which you can hang up with pride. The vehicle will be ready to drive you back to the hotel for warm shower at Moshi. It’s definitely time to celebrate!
Throughout the trek, hikers will experience varied landscapes, from rainforests to alpine deserts, and witness stunning views of Kilimanjaro and its surroundings. Acclimatisation days ensure a safer climb, and guides provide insights into the local flora and fauna, making the journey educational as well as physically rewarding. The summit bid at midnight, culminating in a sunrise at Uhuru Peak, is an unforgettable highlight.
