Know before you book

  • Itinerary order is subject to change depending on traffic, weather or any operational reasons.
  • Due to the weather, traffic conditions, or suspension of operation, we may have a possibility not to achieve all the activities. The tour will be attending to alternative place or giving out a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. Refunds will not be given for these changes.
  • The lunch/restaurant may change due to operational reasons.
  • If selected, Vegetarian and Muslim options available, but please request upon booking. Halal, Vegan meals, Allergy-friendly meals, etc. are not available. Please book the tour without lunch and bring your own lunch.
  • Customers who need each options will be charged more for changes on the day, therefore please select with lunch option or Bullet train option in advance
  • Please let us know your booking numbers and total number of people before the tour if you have several bookings or if you have booked separatly.
  • Due to traffic congestion on weekends and holidays, the tour ends at Odawara Station. So please book our tour “Returning by Bullet Train”(Including the BT ticket), but if you have a JR Pass or don't need a Shinkansen ticket to Tokyo, you can book with this product.
  • 2025:every Weekends, holidays and several days (April 28th, 30th; May 1st-2nd; August 12th; and 14th-15th)

What you can expect

Escape from Tokyo and discover Japan's natural miracle around the World Heritage Mt. Fuji and Hakone in 1 day!
In this tour, we will take you to Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan and listed as a World Heritage in 2013, and also take you to Hakone, famous for its natural beauty and breathtaking views through Lake Ashi.

We start the tour from the centre of Tokyo, Shinjuku (Love statue) at 8 am.
A comfortable air-conditioned coach will first take you all the way up to the 5th station of Mt. Fuji, 2,000 metres above the ground.
Take a deep breath at the wonderful nature in Mt.Fuji while seeing the magnificent scenery. Also, feel the sacred atmosphere at the Japanese Shinto Shrine!

*If you can't go beyond the 4th station, we will visit Oshino Hakkai or alternative place.

Then the bus will take you to a buffet lunch spot with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji!
Enjoy a Japanese Lunch buffet with local fresh ingredients as much as you like!

Halal, Vegan meals, Allergy-friendly meals, etc. are not available. Please book the tour without lunch and bring your own lunch.

The bus will then head to the Hakone area!

We will take a Hakone Ropeway, an exhilarating experience with an amazing view of Mt. Hakone or Mt. Komagatake.
You can see the rich nature of the mountain. This ropeway will take you to Lake Ashi, a caldera lake.

Enjoy the refreshing cruise of Lake Ashi and see the beautiful natural landscape and Mt. Fuji.

After taking cruise, the bus will have a quick stop at Odawara Station and head back to Shinjuku Station getting there around 6:50 pm.

On every Weekends, holidays and several days (April 28th, 30th/ May 1st-2nd/ August 12th and 14th-15th) this tour finish at Odawara station.

Please book our tour with “return by Shinkansen” to return to Tokyo or you can also book with “return by bus” and finish at Odawara station and go back on your choice.

Tour bus was very convenient and covered all 3 activities on schedule and we were able to take the bullet train to Kyoto from Odawara station while most others took the bullet train to Tokyo. Tour guide Ayaka kept us engaged during the drive by sharing history of the locations being visited and teaching us a few Japanese words. Time flew by. We opted for the buffet lunch which was very satisfying.

Tour guides were amazing! Could not do the Hakone rope due to crowds My only complaint was lunch buffet was cold. Not worth it so if you do the tour I'd just skip it

Very well conducted day trip. Amazing views with true Japanese experience. Lunch experience was excellent. Levin was a very good guide, with a infectious smile and a great humour. He spoke excellent English. View from Hakone ropeway was nothing very great, Waiting time at the queue to board the cruise boat was too long

Creo que es la única forma de visitar el monte Fuji sin problemas y sin perderse. Muy bien organizado, muy puntuales, muy cómodo. Les recomiendo comprar el paquete con comida porque si la tienda esta cerrada no van a encontrar nada para comer. Prueben los huevos negros.

What a way to spend the day, you get to see quite a bit. Mt Fuji was breathtaking. Lake Ashi cruise was refreshing. Scenic views all around. Tour guide Angie made the trip fun and informative.
